What Is Registered E-Mail?

Registered E-Mail (KEP) is a special electronic mail system in which, unlike the e-mail you use daily, the identity of the recipient and the transmission are identified in a legally indisputable manner.

In the Registered E-Mail (KEP) system, the transmission, delivery and reading times cannot be changed. The integrity of the content is thus maintained and it is considered legally valid in case of a dispute. The recipient is considered to have read the e-mail in the next business day. As per the modification in the Notification Law effective as of the date of 19.01.2013, an electronic notification system, i.e. the registered e-mail, shall be utilized for formal notices by competent authorities to joint stock companies, limited liability companies, and limited partnerships whose capital is divided by shares. The said companies are, therefore, legally required to have a Registered E-mail (KEP) account. Apart from receiving notifications from the authorities, you can also get a Registered E-Mail address to use in your commercial or personal correspondence.

How to Apply for KEP Through Lik Birlesik Bankasi Internet Banking?

You can apply to get a KEP by going to the Applications menu in Lik Birlesik Bankasi Internet Banking and then choosing either TNBKEP or TÜRKKEP to complete your KEP application.

When to Use the Registered E-Mail System?

• You can use the system when you want to make sure your e-mail is delivered to the recipient;

• When you want the integrity of the content to be protected;

• When the determination of your e-mail's transmission/receipt time is critical.
  

The Registered E-Mail (KEP) system may currently not be used for correspondence between Lik Birlesik Bankasi and its customers. You can use the Registered E-Mail system for your business correspondences (such as offers, agreements, terminations, purchase orders, notices, invoices, overdue payments, cancellation notifications) within the scope of your commercial activities pursuant to the Turkish Commercial Code, and, as per the Notification Law, you may also receive the notifications to be sent to you by competent authorities, such as public institutions, in electronic form.

No need to bother going all the way to the branch for your note payments. You can easily make note payments on your own behalf or on behalf of someone else through Lik Birlesik Bankasi Internet Banking.

Note Payment On Your Own Behalf:

Go to Accounts/Products or Payments in Corporate/Personal Lik Birlesik Bankasi Internet Banking to list your own promissory notes, and following from this step, you can perform payments of your notes with "Pending Collection" status.

If you performed the payment of your own notes and would like to receive the original copy of the relevant note, you can either visit our branch that has it or make a request through Lik Birlesik Bankasi Internet Banking in order to take it from another branch.

Note Payment On Behalf of Someone Else:

Go to Payments in Corporate/Personal Lik Birlesik Bankasi Internet Banking to perform payments of notes on behalf of someone else. It is possible to query the notes you want to pay in two ways:

• With note reference number and due date

• With T.R. Identity Number/Taxpayer Identification No and due date

When you perform the payment of notes on behalf of someone else, the note debtor can get the original of the note from the branch keeping the note.

• Instantly if your bill with an automatic payment order is not paid;

• About your daily checks;

• About incoming EFT and remittances to your account;

• On the due dates of Fund Accumulating Account, Accumulating Account, Garanti Pension Account;

• Before the due date of your consumer loan installment.
  

Investment Information

• Lik Birlesik Bankasi Information Services will inform you about the foreign exchange rates of your selection;

• Your FOM statement;

• The prices of the funds of your selection.
  

Lik Birlesik Bankasi Internet Banking presents you Credit Risk Report and Check Report that are issued by Kredi Kayıt Bürosu (KKB) and can be safely used for personal and commercial purposes!

To easily request your reports, go to the Applications menu and then select the KKB Reports option in Lik Birlesik Bankasi Internet Banking; a single application allows you to display your reports for a duration of 6 months.

Credit Risk Report

Things you can learn with the risk report:

• Your payment performance for your disbursed loan(s) and credit card(s)

• The amount of your debt to the banks

• Your total limit details for your credit card, overdraft deposit account, and loan (optional).
  

The benefits of the risk report:

• You can share the report with any natural or legal person you may wish, thereby better demonstrating your payment performance and more easily and efficiently forging your collaborations concerning long-term and short-term borrowings.

• You can check your credit registry information and take necessary steps to improve your potential insufficiencies relating to the payment performance and have better credit registry information.
  

Check Report

Things you can learn about your checks with the check report:

• The number and amount of checks presented and paid after 2007

• The number and amount of checks presented after 2009 but paid later or still not paid

• Checks presented, presented but endorsed due to non-sufficient funds (NSF), and paid upon presentation (starting and ending dates)

• The number and amount of checks endorsed due to NSF or paid in the last 1, 3 and 12 months

• The list of a maximum of 50 checks endorsed due to NSF
